Fantastic gear, used recently on a quick Easter trip from Mexico D.F. to Guatemala, Belize, Honduras and back. 5,700 km on all kind of tracks, sometimes really bad (not on the photos as I rather focussed on getting through the rough passages).

Giant Loop Sponsored Rider Danell Lynn Sets New Guinness World Record: Longest Journey By Motorcycle In A Single Country
Giant Loop is proud to announce that sponsored rider Danell Lynn has set a new Guinness World Record for “Longest journey by motorcycle in a single country.” Traveling for a year on her Triumph Bonneville equipped with Giant Loop gear, Lynn covered 48,600 miles while riding throughout the contiguous 48 states of the Unite States of America. Lynn is the first solo woman motorcyclist to hold the record.
Although her travels actually covered all 50 states, as well as three Canadian provinces, totaling more than 53,000 miles from September 2014 through September 2015, Guinness only counted the miles logged within the continental 48 states. Duplicate miles also did not apply to the record; each of the 48,600 miles covered different routes.
“Giant Loop was my first and only bag choice as the ride began its planning,” says Lynn. “I am so pleased with it all: The ease of use, and complete dryness of my gear through downpours, will keep me coming back to Giant Loop.”

Hello at Giant loop,
I thought I’d send you a few shots from our most recent adventure from the lost coast. Epic 400 mile two day ride with fantastic weather and terrain conditions. Thanks for the great gear. I put it through the ringer with brush, rocks, mud and an exit or two in the in a mud hole and on the gravel. Performed awesome. The waterproof liner for the Klamath tail pack fit perfectly and after several water crossings and a swim in the mud I opened it a the end of the day to find a puddle of water on top of the liner and my wallet, phone, and spare goggles dry as a bone. Look forward to lots more use as our riding season here on the lost coast is just getting started. You guys make it down this way and we’ll take you on a giant loop of our own.

P.s. The pannier pockets with a 1.8 liter platypus hoser hydration bladder worked awesome, back up 1 liter on the other side. 1st ride without a pack on my back! It made a huge difference at the end of the day.

We pulled a page from the outdoor sports play book when we chose the new long-sleeve Giant Loop Tech-Tee shirt. The layering system is well know among the gravity and human powered riders. With base layer against the body giving vapor movement, insulation for trapping warmth in the second layer and, for the final layer, a vented or breathable outer shell to manage the environmental conditions. Ride Must Go On
Hello , my name is Tolga Basol and I?m from Istanbul, Turkey. I’ve been working for the media industry in Istanbul about 14 years. I bought my first motorcycle about 12 years ago. Since then I’ve tried to travel with my bike to different parts of the world on my short holidays from work. I started to carry my video equipment on my travels & figured out how to shoot while traveling on a motorcycle. Finally i decided to quit my job to fulfill probably the biggest dream in my life; riding around the world on a motorcycle.
My journey will start from Istanbul on 1st of June 2014 on a KTM 1190 Adv R. I plan to ride through Russia, Mongolia, Siberia & then I will decide to continue to Southeast Asia or to ship my bike to North America. I will try to catch up Dakar 2015 in South America. Then I will decide the route for Africa. I suspect the route might change quite a lot but I will try to travel as long as I can & I did not set an end date for the trip.
The idea behind my trip is simply ??Ride Must Go On??
KTM Turkey provided me with a brand new KTM 1190 Adv R. I bought the lightest & most compact equipment, kept my clothes to minimalistic & Giant Loop provided all the luggage I need for my journey. And now simply the Ride Must Go On.

Jenny Morgan has completed the Hellas Rally!
She rode the Rally-Raidproducts.co.uk built “LC4-50”, equipped with Coyote Saddlebag, from Jolly Old England to the event in Greece. She raced the event with support from Torque Racing and now will be riding/camping it back home again. This is the big test for the KTM690 Enduro, turned into a 450cc Rally Replica with a specially designed conversion kit. The goal of the conversion kit is to give Privateer Rally Racers a stone reliable and easy to handle FIM and ASO legal rally bike. A bike that can be ridden all year, plus survive the rigors of racing Dakar, without requiring major service to the engine internals.

The latest edition of KTM 350 and 500 EXC dual sports come equipped with a thicker and much stronger rear fender. This is to keep the taillight assembly from flexing into the rear tire during rough riding. This new design is an added benefit for those of us that like to carry loads strapped onto the back fender, but is a consideration when mounting a Mojavi or Coyote Saddlebag without using the included fender hooks. The issue is that our fender hooks are radius profiled for thinner fenders, like every other enduro or dualsport uses, and no longer clip onto current design KTM rear fenders.
Solution: Replace the hooks with the included mounting strap, by sandwiching the strap between the fender and taillight assembly, before mounting the bag. Then thread the mounting strap through the buckles inside the saddlebag.
This is done by unscrewing the taillight assembly(black plastic shown below) from the subframe and fender.
Once the strap is centered, re-tighten the screws and bolts that secure the taillight assembly. This should tension the strap under the fender, so it doesn’t slide around, providing a solid mounting position.
Thread the mounting strap through the buckles and tension.
We use a spare side release buckle to hold the strap ends, when a bag isn’t mounted.
