Your exploration of how GL products cross-over into overland much appreciated — thanks!
When the pros need gear that holds up on the trail, they turn to GL! Here are some excellent photos from Bend Motorcycle Adventures tour operator Jon Beaver’s KTM 790 Adventure R in Oregon Backcountry…
Thanks for the great photos Jon!
“Thank you guys again for providing the great Giant Loop products for our Honda CRF450L story. The MoJavi Saddlebags, Fender Rack, Buckin’ Roll Tank Bag, Pronghorn Straps and Gas Bag are all really great products! The story is in this week’s Cycle News. Thanks!” — Sean Finley, Digital Throttle

Check out this great use for the Giant Loop Gas Bag…
“Hi Giant loop, I received my Gas Bag and am very happy, thank you. Here’s a photo of how I use it. The Gas Bag sits in the tray of my SXR 1100 Jet Ski and allows me the range to get to our favorite watering hole out on the California delta. I burn 8 gallons of premix with the round trip and the ski holds 5 gallons only. Great product for sure.” — Scott Young
Awesome, Scott — thanks!
“The absolute king of the hill for carrying extra fuel and also having a small pack size when you don’t need it is, the Giant Loop Gas Bag, available in 1, 2, 3 and 5-gallon sizes. As the Giant Loop Gas Bag is soft set up, besides not being prone to cracking like the solid version from vibration it is also extremely durable and can take an amazing amount of impact if you do fall on it in a crash.” — @RTWPAUL, Adventure Rider
Go light. Go fast. Go far!
“Space is always a concern when traveling off-road, and the distance between filling stations can be enormous. The Gas Bag allows off-roaders to roll up the empty container and minimize storage when they are empty. They are a very tough ballistic nylon and can be easily moved from the truck and strapped to an ATV, side-by-side, dirt bike, snow bike or snowmobile using the daisy-chain webbing. With sizes of 1, 2, 3 or 5 gal., you can match a Gas Bag to your needs.” — Perry Mack, 4WDrive Magazine
Thanks, Perry — always fantastic to get a great review!
One rider showing us how she takes Giant Loop to the next level on a Timbersled Snow Bike…
“Whether I’m out on the snow or picking my way through high mountain single track, Giant Loop products have become an essential part of my adventures! Three things I can’t live with out: the Mojavi Saddlebag for those long multi-day adventures out on the trail, the Fuel Bag for keeping my machines going on those remote days when the only fuel you get is what you can pack with you, and the newly redesigned and totally awesome Buckin’ Roll Tank Bag for keeping the small essentials close at hand. Giant Loop products let me take my adventures to the next level!” — Carrie Barton
Excellent photo — fresh tracks! Thanks for the email, Carrie…
“It’s raining, and I’m out riding! My latest dual sport adventure is a soggy, rain-soaked trip into the woods to explore some logging roads in various states of upkeep. My Honda CRF250L performs admirably on well-maintained roads, while hopping over downed trees, and exploring long-abandoned and completely overgrown tracks. Only a dual sport motorcycle could possibly handle all the different types of terrain, fallen rocks, narrow spaces, and other obstacles I encountered on this rainy day logging road dual sport exploration adventure.” — Dork in the Road

Today, we answer the question: Can you run over the Gas Bag Fuel Safe Bladder with a truck without causing leaks or damage?
Can you do this with your plastic gas can? People ask if Giant Loop’s Gas Bag Fuel Safe Bladder is tough, so we put the 5-gallon Gas Bag to the test by running over it repeatedly with a Nissan Titan half ton pick-up truck. Not only did it not pop or leak, it barely left a mark, even when the truck tire pushes it and makes it roll on the asphalt parking lot.
Giant Loop 3- and 5-Gallon Gas Bag Fuel Safe Bladders
Giant Loop has added new 3- and 5-gallon Gas Bag™ Fuel Safe Bladders to its award-wining fuel solutions. Gas Bag Fuel Safe Bladders conveniently transport hydrocarbon fuel for power sports racing in a collapsible welded film and ballistic nylon reinforced container that rolls up or packs flat when empty. Weighing a fraction of rigid tanks and canisters and less costly than racing fuel cells, Gas Bag Fuel Safe Bladders are also available in 1- and 2-gallon models.
The new larger 3-gallon (11.4 liters) and 5-gallon (18.9 liters) Gas Bags are designed specifically for UTVs, ATVs, snowmobiles, snow bikes (e.g., Timbersled, Camso), 4x4s and overland vehicles, providing a lightweight, compact means of transporting gas for off-road racing on closed courses, as well as for international travel.
Each Gas Bag Fuel Safe Bladder is individually pressure tested and made in USA by Fuel Safe®, a leading racing fuel containment manufacturer based in Redmond, Oregon.
NOTE: Gas Bag Fuel Safe Bladders are intended only for the temporary transport of liquid hydrocarbons for racing vehicles used in professional off road and closed course competition racing events. The Gas Bag Fuel Safe Bladder is NOT a portable or long-term fuel storage container as described by ASTM, EPA, ARB or other state or federal agencies.
Flat and unfilled, the 3-Gallon Gas Bag Fuel Safe Bladder measures 22″ long by 14″ wide. Three heavy-duty webbing and molded rubber handles provide tie-downs and facilitate fuel handling. The 5-gallon Gas Bag Fuel Safe Bladder measures 29” long by 14” wide, with four heavy-duty handles.
All models of Gas Bags feature two rows of webbing daisy chain loops that prevent the Gas Bag from sliding out from under tie-down straps (not included). Filler necks are standard size, fitting “universal” spouts, such as the EZ-Pour (also available from Giant Loop). Available exclusively from Giant Loop and authorized dealers, USA MSRP is $239.99 for the 3-gallon Gas Bag (GL part FSB18-G3) and $299.99 for the 5-gallon Gas Bag (GL part FSB18-G5).
