Great photos Bryan — thanks for riding with Giant Loop!
GL friend Alberto Mancuso of the company O2Riders based in Spain sold his first rally kit to a USA customer!
O2Riders is now offering these beautiful Spanish-made rally kits for KTM and Husqvarna enduro and adventure models. Bluetooth roadbook controls and other trick bits in the works. Currently, the website is in Spanish and Italian. English version coming soon…
Buena suerte Alberto!
“I’m super glad I brought all that, because about 70 miles in to the first day and the farthest point from our cabin we got a flat. Luckily I had a tube and tools in the MoJavi Saddlebags, a patch kit and pump in my Possibles Pouch. So I was able to swap the tube and we were on our way. The MoJavi Saddlebags were super secure even on some enduro type stepped ledges. They didn’t get in my way at all and held secure where I mounted them. Super convenient and stable. Thank you!” — Andy Janik, Sullivan Tool and Repair
Nice gear — thanks for going with Giant Loop!
We love this photo — thanks Marck!
Shot with the Insta360, our dude Ryan chasing Instacam distributor Peter on a single track trail. We love how the MoJavi Saddlebag on Peter’s KTM 500 EXC never shifts, bounces or gets in the way. On Ryan’s Suzuki RMZ 450, the Buckin’ Roll Tank Bag and Zigzag Handlebar Bag is also equally stable…
With Giant Loop gear, riders can pack less weight in their backpack and more on the bike for better endurance, comfort and reduced fatigue. Like it’s not even there!
Designed by riders for riders. Go light. Go fast. Go far!
“Thank you guys again for providing the great Giant Loop products for our Honda CRF450L story. The MoJavi Saddlebags, Fender Rack, Buckin’ Roll Tank Bag, Pronghorn Straps and Gas Bag are all really great products! The story is in this week’s Cycle News. Thanks!” — Sean Finley, Digital Throttle
Right on Sean, perfect setup on that bike!
“From the rugged Taurus Mountains, to central deserts and towering cliffs, to northern forests, Turkey is an adventure riding paradise. We took an opportunity to explore the vast country, overcoming challenges that all adventure riders face at some point. Follow along as our small group immerses into the unique terrain rich with history, culture and new experiences.” — Tolga Basol, email@example.com
Thanks Tolga — great to see you riding with GL!
Our friend Andy sent us an email detailing how he uses Giant Loop gear to make the magic happen…
“I’ve been using the Zigzag Handlebar Bag, Tail Rack and Possibles Pouch with the Pronghorn Straps. The Tail Rack holds the Possibles Pouch super secure with the Pronghorn Straps. I threw all my tools in there so I always have them on the bike and did some really rocky rides and hill climbs and I was never worried I’d lose the tools. It was great! Not having to worry about my gear being secure is so nice. It gives me the confidence to rip harder sections and never worry. The Zigzag Handlebar Bag is great for holding my phone and snacks and charger. Not having to take my backpack off to get to essentials is great!” — Andy Janik
Good one Andy — thanks!
“There are many types of luggage systems for different needs, but the tank bag is the tool of choice for immediate access to small gear. Giant Loop’s Diablo Tank Bag was designed with dual sport motorcycles and off-road usage in mind.” — Yuval Naveh, Road RUNNER
Our tank bags are popular with photographers, which is why we lined them with hook-and-loop accepting fabric. Check out this perfect customization to safely accommodate camera gear…
Check out these amazing photos from a customer riding a KTM 500 EXC Six Days Edition with an unconventional, but effective Giant Loop luggage set up. He’s strapped two Tillamook Dry Bags to his luggage racks and running a Fandango Tank Bag on top as well…
“Hi, Giant Loop Team! Here are some pictures. Mostly India, Pakistan, Iran, Oman, Egypt and all the way down to South Africa. I’m still on the road. You got a great product!” — Frank Neikes
He’s put a lot of miles on this improvised set-up, and apparently loves it. Excellent Frank, thanks for the photos!
Go light. Go fast. Go far…
Rider Jaume writes to us about our new Pronghorn Straps…
“When I’m traveling through mountains or across deserts I can’t take any risks, so I always trust Giant Loop to carry my gear. Light, reliable, resistant and well designed. They have never let me down, which is why they are my constant travel companions. Best regards!” — Jaume von Arend, Fòrum Gastronòmic
Cool, Jaume — we love you too!
Have you seen our new Pronghorn Straps? Check them out here…
He made it, around-the-world!!!
“After 139,870K through 51 different countries on 6 continents over three and a half years — yesterday I finally made it to Bluff, the end of my journey. I hadn’t planned on going there yesterday, but after seeing rain was forecast I decided to head to Invercargill and before I knew it — I was doing a wheelie on the beach. It seems appropriate because this is how my “Forrest Gump” type journey has been mostly, which is unplanned and taking it day by day. I never set out to ride around the world. After Oregon, I decided Alaska was a better ending point. And then, for whatever reasons I thought I’ll turn around and ride it back home to New Zealand. A big thanks to Harold Olaf Cecil at Giant Loop, Dave at Adventure-Spec, and MotoZ Tires who have supported me with gear. But especially, I would like to thank all of you who have either been following my journey on Facebook, opened your home to me or I’ve met in person. I’ve been humbled and grateful for all the kindness I’ve experienced along the way and it’s given me faith in humanity, which is one of the awesome things about traveling. So no matter what journey you have in mind, just go do it and experience the kindness out there waiting for you.” — Aaron Steinmann (photos by Burt Munro)
Words can not express how amazing it is to be a part of this… Thanks, Aaron
On to the next loop!!!
Giant Loop is pleased to be presenting the Central Oregon premier of the new North East Backcountry Discovery Route film for our March Giant Loop Garage Night at Pro Caliber Bend! Please join us Wednesday, March 18, 6:30pm…
From Ride BDR: “This epic 1,400-mile backcountry tour of the Northeast Region up to the Canadian border winds through 7 states and nearly a dozen state forests on dirt and gravel roads, challenging seasonal and Class IV roads, and twisty tarmac. Expect scenic views, endless forest roads under a canopy of trees, rocky expert-only sections and the highest elevations in the Northeast. Every state delivers a unique adventure riding experience unto itself.”
This film is gonna be amazing — we look forward to seeing you there!
“It’s raining, and I’m out riding! My latest dual sport adventure is a soggy, rain-soaked trip into the woods to explore some logging roads in various states of upkeep. My Honda CRF250L performs admirably on well-maintained roads, while hopping over downed trees, and exploring long-abandoned and completely overgrown tracks. Only a dual sport motorcycle could possibly handle all the different types of terrain, fallen rocks, narrow spaces, and other obstacles I encountered on this rainy day logging road dual sport exploration adventure.” — Dork in the Road
The Dork in the Road channel is a GL favorite!
Find lots more from MotoTrek on YouTube. Good stuff Brett!
“Lots of room for your gear with room to over stuff. Convenient pockets for quick access and staying organized. Fast to remove or mount with the quick-release pannier mounts installed. No mounting plate left behind on racks when bags are removed.”
Lawrence Hacking is not only a long time Giant Loop supporter, but he is also a riding legend! Lawrence was the first Canadian to finish the Dakar Rally in 2001. He’s a published author, and a couple years ago, raced the Baja Rally on a Honda Africa Twin…
“Here is a picture of my 2005 CRF450X prepped for The Cycle World TREK hosted by The Bonnier Motorcycle Group. The Mojavi Saddlebags kept the gear off of my back and on the bike like a world champion. This made me less fatigued and able to ride further. Thanks for a terrific product!” — David Alari
Nice ride David!
We love to see our bags in action, thanks for the photos Eric!
An exciting message from Giant Loop Ambassador Aaron Steinmann…
“Three and a half years, 134,000K and 50 countries later my bike finally got cleared by New Zealand customs and is back on home soil. Tomorrow I’ll head north from Auckland towards Cape Reinga and start a top to bottom of New Zealand which is how I started all this sillyness. A quick thanks to MotoZ for supporting me with another set of tires, and to Giant Loop who has always sent me whatever I might need of theirs anywhere in the world.” — Aaron Steinmann (February 1, 2020)
Go Light. Go Fast. Go Far!
“I really enjoy both saddlebag sets.”
Great – thank you for supporting Giant Loop!
My name is Seth, I am part of the ambassador program with Konflict Motorsports. First off I want to thank you for providing us with the luggage, I have used mine to the extreme and am very pleased with it. On my last trip to Baja I did 2500 miles over 10 days. Attached are a few images from my trip.
Thanks, Seth Spain
“Wanted to pass on a picture from a little day ride yesterday in the foothills of the mountains West of Muleje. Great dirt road riding with lots of greenery due to all the recent rains. A great trip so far. Siskiyou Panniers have been working perfectly and I’m impressed by the simple design and ample space. Thanks for the set up!” – Best, Ian Neubauer
Thanks for writing, Ian!
“I have included a pic of my 2019 BMW G310 with the Giant Loop product. As you can see I am a big fan of Giant Loop. Revelstoke Tunnel Bag, Rouge Dry Bag, Possibles Pouch, Zigzag Bag on my crash bar. Next will be a Coyote Saddle Bag for multiple day adventures. These small displacement adventure bikes can’t take the added weight of hard boxes and pannier racks. Giant Loop has the answer. I will be buying more Giant Loop products for my adventures next year as well. Thanks!” – Brent Lundevall
Right on Brent!
