One of the coolest parts of the annual Giant Loop Ride is all the amazing motorcycle manufacturers who bring out demo bikes for attendees to try out. Giant Loop Ambassador Dork in the Road took advantage of the offerings from our friends at Triumph and got out on a thorough test ride of a Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE in the hills overlooking the hot springs where the event is held.

My Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE off road test ride at this year’s Giant Loop Ride was an absolute blast. I’ve always wondered what it would be like to take a Triumph Scrambler 1200 off road and always kind of assumed it wouldn’t be all that off road capable, but boy was I wrong. Riding the Triumph Scrambler off road is an absolute blast. It’s far more capable than I ever believed it to be and I had a ton of fun on this Triumph 1200 Scrambler test ride.
Based on Ben’s cackling joy at the end of the test ride, we’d say the Triumph Scrambler is a pretty fun bike!
