On many bikes, including BMW GS models, removing the seat, running straps around seat rails of frame, reinstalling seat and tensioning straps makes a very tiding mount. Don’t forget to install Vinyl Protective Film to protect the shiny painted surfaces under straps and Fandango/Diablo Harness.
