Just picked one up! Looking forward to using this piece of hardware! Rad build, love the versatility!

This rack could be my favorite new mod. Clean, simple & secure! Doesn’t get in the way when not used yet super useful when needed. Packing this puppy up with the Possibles bag for this weekends 200+ mile rip. 🤘

Fantastic product. Light weight and very easy to install. I purchased this with a Possibles Pouch and 2 ProngHorn straps and it worked better than expected. Looks and works great on my DRZ400s. Large enough for my tool kit and a first aid kit and still room for more.

  4. Adam Larnach

Excellent quality, GL didn’t cut corner son the fasteners either – very pleased with how this mounted to my 2020 FE501S and the way my Coyote bag’s weight is distributed (and fastened) to this. Rock solid stuff as always!

Love the tail rack! Mine came with some black plastic spacers for under the rack and above the fender. I’m wondering if I should mount some metal washers under the plastic spacers to distribute the load wider against the fender. Any thoughts?

Quality construction. Fast shipping from the website. Clean install. Very happy. Just buy it.

Just added this to my drz 400. After a trip last weekend where my possible bag tried to bail on me with another brands luggage rack, I saw a giant loop add with dork in the road for this rack. I ordered it immediately! Super fast shipping and easy installation (10 minutes including taking the old one off). Strapped the possible bag back down and I’m ready to roll. Love the low profile light weight design.

We utilized the Giant Loop Tail Rack on our 2021 Tour of Idaho ride. Combined with the Giant Loop Mojave Saddlebags makes for a rock solid combination. Over 2100 miles in 10 trail days and this rack worked flawlessly. The Tail Rack is a must to help secure your Giant Loop Gas Bag or the New Armadillo Bag. Highly recommend.

I purchased and installed the GL Tail Rack from GL directly for my 2023 FE501S to attach my GL Klamath Tail Rack Pack on the rear fender. The combo of the two works well together, the rack attaches easily with hardware supplied, can be mounted in 90 or 180 degree rotations, leaves enough space to use the Pronghorn Straps to secure it. I put on 200 miles last weekend on double and single track in WA and it stayed put with no adjustment needed. I’ve got the Buckin Roll Tank Bag upfront, Rack Pack in the back to carry a full day’s adventure worth of snacks & tools. These guys use their gear, it all works together flawlessly.

eCommerce ability and ease of shopping the website couldn’t be easier. Free shipping on a “reasonable” min. order amount as compared to other vendors, quick shipping and very fast response to email inquiries. Perhaps most importantly for me (outside of product quality=very good and shopping experience), it is GREAT to support a local/Northwest vendor such as Giant Loop.
