Love the tail rack! Mine came with some black plastic spacers for under the rack and above the fender. I’m wondering if I should mount some metal washers under the plastic spacers to distribute the load wider against the fender. Any thoughts?

We utilized the Giant Loop Tail Rack on our 2021 Tour of Idaho ride. Combined with the Giant Loop Mojave Saddlebags makes for a rock solid combination. Over 2100 miles in 10 trail days and this rack worked flawlessly. The Tail Rack is a must to help secure your Giant Loop Gas Bag or the New Armadillo Bag. Highly recommend.

I purchased and installed the GL Tail Rack from GL directly for my 2023 FE501S to attach my GL Klamath Tail Rack Pack on the rear fender. The combo of the two works well together, the rack attaches easily with hardware supplied, can be mounted in 90 or 180 degree rotations, leaves enough space to use the Pronghorn Straps to secure it. I put on 200 miles last weekend on double and single track in WA and it stayed put with no adjustment needed. I’ve got the Buckin Roll Tank Bag upfront, Rack Pack in the back to carry a full day’s adventure worth of snacks & tools. These guys use their gear, it all works together flawlessly.
