Meet GL Ambassador Jaume von Arend:
My name is Jaume von Arend and I live in the Costa Brava (Catalunya-Spain)
I have been collaborating with Giant Loop for about 10 years, since I met Harold in the EICMA trade fair. I fell in love with their products and philosophy: Go light. Go fast. Go far.
Motorbikes are my passion. I have been riding since I was eleven years old. At fourteen I started to do trial. At 16 I was a trial rider competing in the Spanish championship and after a while in some world championship trials. Some years after, I rode enduro and rallies and since then I have been focused on adventure trips. I love off-roading.
In my blog Traildreamer.com I explain the extreme transformations I’m doing on my bikes in search of the perfect adventure bike, and also my trips with them.
Now I have a Ducati DesertX for long distance trips and a KTM 500 EXC adapted for extreme off-road rides.
In 2023 I am going to finish the DesertX preparation in order to participate in several off-road events in Spain and a dream trip in Iceland.
