Giant Loop Fitment on a Triumph 900 and Scrambler 1200 XC — Part 2

Giant Loop Video Guru Ben spent a couple hours at the Triumph dealership in Beaverton test fitting GL luggage on a Triumph Tiger 900 and a Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC. Check out the great photos he took demonstrating the fitment of the Giant Loop Fandango Tank Bag, Great Basin Saddlebag, Tillamook Dry Bag, Zigzag Handlebar Bag, Siskiyou Panniers, Klamath Tail Rack Pack

The next bike Ben test fit was a 2022 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC and he’s sure everything will also work with the Scrambler 1200 XE — other than being a little taller they’re basically the same…

“On the Scrambler I fit the Giant Loop Tillamook Dry Bag, Great Basin Saddlebag and Zigzag Handlebar Bag. The tank is super wide and asymmetrical with the gas cap off to the side — not to mention like super shiny — and I wasn’t sure how the tank bags would work — plus, I didn’t want to risk scratching the paint! The Great Basin goes over the single-sided exhaust and I think with a heat shield it will work perfectly. I also mounted the Tillamook sideways on the back using the stock mounting points and it was perfect. Maybe not as many options with the Scrambler but people can definitely make our bags work with it! ” — Ben, Giant Loop

Nice work Ben — thanks for the droppin’ the science..!

We recommend installing Vinyl Protective Film beneath the contact surfaces of tank bags, saddlebags, etc. to prevent vibration and dust from buffing the plastics and painted parts…
